IEA Knowledge Exchange Manager Richard Lamb is attending next week’s Adaptation Futures Conference, the biennial conference of the Global Programme of Research on Climate Change Vulnerability, Impacts and Adaptation (PROVIA) being held in Rotterdam.

Richard is aiming to explore with like-minded organisations the role the IEA can play in delivering the climate services agenda.

Adaptation Futures 2016 offers a platform to exchange new and practical ideas, experiences and insights for climate change adaptation.

Policymakers, business people, academics and practitioners from all around the world go to the conference to connect, learn and inspire. It highlights adaptation practices and solutions for people, governments and businesses. The programme addresses all sectors and all parts of the world.

There are more than 1,500 delegates from 107 countries who will have the opportunity to meet, mingle, inspire and develop partnerships.

Participants are invited to share their research findings, public and commercial solutions, and policy issues. They are asked to demonstrate how their findings might be applicable to other communities, countries or sectors.
